If you remember watching the original DuckTales, congratulations, you're old! (JK, we're right there with you.)

Sept. 18 marks the 30th anniversary of the animated favorite, which introduced us to the world's most addictive theme song (woo-oo!), and followed the adventures of the crotchety trillionaire Scrooge McDuck and his trio of troublesome grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Disney XD has revived the show for a new series which premieres on Sept. 23 with two back-to-back episodes, airing at 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

To commemorate the original show's anniversary and the franchise's return, check out eight things you probably didn't know about the Ducktales reboot, including all the ways it's inspired by the original Carl Barks comics and its 1980s predecessor.
