Someone created a dumpling burger hybrid and we, as a species, must be stopped

Who say what now??

Have you ever gazed down at some delicious dumplings you were about to eat and thought to yourself, "Wow, these dumplings are great and all, but you know what would make them even better? If they were squished between a hamburger bun and topped with lettuce."

Neither have we.

But that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist (or, um, maybe it does). In any case, hold onto your utensils, some culinary innovator created the dumpling burger.

Meet the Momo Burger, a new dumpling/ burger creation being served at the Chinese Club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. (Honestly, are you surprised that this is a Brooklyn creation?) This particular frankenfood was inspired by Tibetan and Nepalese dumplings called momos.

The momos featured on the Momo Burger are filled with chicken meatballs. Much like any burger, they are topped with cheese, spicy mayonnaise, and lettuce, and sandwiched between two fluffy buns. The hybrid food costs $8.95.

We are torn. Do we really need our dumplings served on a bun? Probably not. Yet, if these were delivered to us this very moment, would we say no? Are we even human if we do not try the dumpling burger?

However, we did just get over the Unicorn Frappe. Please give us some space to breathe before we find out there's a taco-pizza-muffin.
