Yes, the rumors are true. Girl Scout Cookie coffee now exists.
Just when you thought all the great culinary crossovers had been discovered, Dunkin' Donuts enters the ring with an innovative stroke of genius.
We are absolutely shook to announce that the doughnut/coffee chain is partnering with Girl Scouts to introduce three flavors of Girl Scout cookie-inspired coffee to the world.
Will this coffee be gross? It's entirely possible. But from everything we know about Girl Scout cookies, the flavors also have the potential to shower our tastebuds with sugary bliss.
Dunkin’ Donuts revealed the three new coffee flavors — inspired by Thin Mints, Do-si-dos (or Peanut Butter Sandwiches), and Caramel deLites (also known as an all-time-favorite cookie, Samoas) — in a Facebook Live event on Friday.
"Our guests have come to expect and enjoy fun, innovative flavors from us, and what could elicit more smiles than the iconic taste of Girl Scout Cookie inspired flavors in your favorite Dunkin’ Donuts coffee?" Dunkin' Donuts exec Patty Healy said in a press release.
The Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cookie flavors will be available in hot and iced coffee, lattes, macchiatos, and frozen chocolate at select Dunkin' Donuts from Feb. 26 until the end of May.
Is cookie coffee a thing we needed? By all means, no. But now that it's here we can barely imagine our lives without it.
