While Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte claimed victory at the parliamentary election, it was another rising political star that really grabbed the people's imagination.
Jesse Klaver, the young leader of the Green Party, scored an historic victory at the polls, guiding his party to become the largest on the left wing side:

The 30-year-old, who has Moroccan and Indonesian roots, is more to the left of Trudeau when it comes to politics.
But both share the same enthusiastic view of an inclusive politics which rejects the anti-Islam, anti-immigration policies of right-wing populism -- Trump in America, Geert Wilders in the Netherlands:

In an interview, Klaver brushed off comparisons with Canada’s heartthrob prime minister.
He said he only wishes he were as ripped as the 45-year-old Trudeau.
“I’m very jealous of Trudeau’s muscles, because I’m not as muscled as he is,” Klaver said.
