LOS ANGELES -- Dominic Toretto don't have friends. He got family. And hey, families fight sometimes.

The mystery beef that Dwayne Johnson cool-headedly references on his Facebook and Instagram accounts -- modern conflict resolution 101 tactics there -- turns out to be between The Rock and none other than Vin Diesel, TMZ reported Tuesday.

No word yet on exactly what the fuss was about, though TMZ's production sources say the two may have butted heads over creative directions ... and both are producers on Fast 8. Johnson and Diesel reportedly had a Tuesday meeting to clear the air, as things were getting so heated that it was affecting production.

First indication of a problem came Monday, when Johnson posted this video on his social accounts:

And you guys thought it was Scott Eastwood! Shame on you!

Fast 8 comes out in April of next year, so it only makes sense that the early marketing narratives have begun -- roughly seven months out seems about right for a movie this huge.

Oh wait -- you believe that this latest on-set drama is real and not a hype-bomb? Hahaha sure, yes. Yes of course, it's all real. There, there.
