Earl Thomas is simply a man. And like every man, sometimes he needs a little love. So the Seattle Seahawks safety gave side judge Alex Kemp a big hug after returning a fumble for a touchdown.

And what did Thomas get in return? A penalty flag.

Look at the indifference with which Kemp throws the flag, hitting the Seahawks with a 15-yard penalty in their game Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Someone give the ref a cup of cocoa to warm his cold, dead heart.

Don't worry, Earl. We're sure there are plenty of fans in Seattle who would love to give you a hug.
