For years, Ed Sheeran has enjoyed a low-key membership in Taylor Swift's squad, even attending her annual Fourth of July party/grueling photo shoot last year.

But did he just evict himself from her castle on a hill?

Just before the Brit Awards on Wednesday, Sheeran not only crashed a BBC 1 interview with Swift enemy Katy Perry, he pleasantly participated in it. Like, the two discussed hugging each other, having the flu, Natalie Imbruglia and how many Grammys they have not won -- all the things you talk about when you are friends.

Watch out, little Ed. The squad might not be a "vaginas only club," but will it take kindly to treason? Hmm.
