If you wanted to jam to Ed Sheeran's new song and rock a pair of sunglasses, just turn to Snapchat. The app debuted a 30-second clip of the "Thinking Out Loud" singer's new song that is set to release at midnight ET Friday.

You may not have noticed the experience on Snapchat, unless you had your volume up and listening through to hear Sheeran's voice at the 30-second loop. There's no mention of Sheeran's name where users tap to use the lens nor within the lens itself.

Unlike Snapchat's other popular lenses, you don't get to transform yourself into Sheeran. Instead, you're adorned with a pair of bright blue sunglasses and encircled in shiny lights.

The song lasts 30 seconds, but per usual with Snapchat, you can only record and share 10 seconds at a time. Snapchat did not respond to Mashable's request for comment on how long the lens will last on the app.

It isn't the first time we've seen the lyrics and heard the beat. Sheeran, who hasn't released a single since June 2015 and came out with his latest album in June 2014, is making a big comeback accompanied with social media teases.

He also previewed the beat in two videos posted to Instagram earlier Thursday.
