Pez Easter egg hunt overtaken by hordes of crazy, egg-hungry parents
Chaos reigned supreme at a family-oriented Easter egg hunt in Connecticut March 26.
The Pez Visitor Center held their third annual hunt, hiding more than 9,000 eggs on three fields. The idea was to separate the hunts by age groups. It seems parents had other ideas.

According to WFSB parents began rushing the field, ignoring organizer instructions. After clearing the first field, the horde waited only briefly before overtaking the next.
A spokesman for Pez described the parents as "kind of like locusts."
Parents took to the visitor center's Facebook page to detail the mayhem of the event. Honestly, it sounds less like an egg hunt and more like a war zone.
"We sincerely tried our best to create a fun, free activity for everyone to enjoy,” Pez said in a statement.
An egg hunt-turned Red Wedding reenactment. Not a bad Easter.
