The Eiffel Tower is lit up like a rainbow in solidarity with Orlando
The Eiffel Tower is currently lit in rainbow colors in solidarity with the victims of the attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando late Saturday night.
The tribute in Paris is one of many vigils worldwide in honor of the LGBTQ community and those who lost their lives and sustained injuries at the gay nightclub, including tributes in the United Kingdom and the United States.
"Paris is with Orlando. Tonight, the Eiffel Tower will be illuminated in LGBT colors in homage to the victims," Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, tweeted.
