ATLANTA -- With a 7-0 lead against North, the crowd at the Eleague Major was already chanting "16-0! 16-0! 16-0!" in support of legendary Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team Virtus.pro.

Virtus.pro tore through North in the first game of their quarterfinals match at the Eleague Major in Atlanta, racking up an unreal 14-0 lead in the first half of Overpass, a map that was chosen by North. VP engaged its famous Virtus.plow -- a term coined by fans for when the Polish team steamrolls through opponents -- taking the map 16-4.

Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski was the key player in Virtus.pro's insane performance, nailing down kill after impressive kill to bury North round after round.

As the crowd cheered for VP to sweep the game in the eighth round, North moved in with nothing but pistols and a hope to catch VP off guard. Snax was ready and waiting, picking them off one by one and earning the first ace of the Major playoffs.

Emotions were running high as the possibility of winning 16-0 grew stronger. With an 11-0 lead late in the first half, one of the most intense rounds of the game took place as North's Ruben "Rubino" Villarroel started to turn things around.

Virtus.pro's Wiktor "Taz" Wojtas managed to put an end to Rubino to secure a 12-0 lead, which was nearly broken again in the next round, but Snax and Taz were unstoppable.

The final round of the half went North's way, stopping the plow and allowing them to catch their breath. In the second half, North managed to take three more rounds but were unable to shut down the unstoppable force that Virtus.pro embodied.

VP dropped the next map to North and was down 3-12 on the third and final map, but managed to make an amazing comeback and win the match 16-13, moving on to the semifinals

We're in Atlanta for the tournament and will be reporting on all the best plays and match results.
