It's going to be a while until the second season of Stranger Things hits screens, but this theory has us very interested: What if Eleven from Stranger Things grew up to be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde?

It's wild, but something Australian writer Kaitlyn Plyley has published as a piece of fan fiction on her blog. Plyley delves into the challenges Eleven would face as she grew up with her adoptive parents in The Valley.

In the story, Eleven does all she can to keep her powers a secret from the public. Her blonde hair and an excess of pink helps hide her complex past.

"Years later, at Harvard Law, Emmett Richmond would tell her that her blonde hair gave her a power she underestimated, and that he hoped she would channel it to use for good. She smiled a little: here was somebody who had an inkling of what she was," Plyley writes.

It's surprisingly not the first time links between the film and the television series have been drawn.

There's likely very little chance the Duffer Brothers will end up making the connection on screen.

But hey, at least we can we can dream about it. What, like it's hard? Go on and read the whole thing here.
