Harry Potter fans think Elizabeth Warren has Big McGonagall Energy

Does Elizabeth Warren remind you of anyone?

Your first thought may be of her doppelgänger, Stephanie Oyen, but if you're a Harry Potter fan you may also notice that Warren has Big McGonagall Energy.

On Tuesday, Gabe Bergado (a former Mashable intern) tweeted that Warren running for president has "the same energy" as Professor McGonagall running Hogwarts.

He's not wrong, and Warren is loving the comparison.

"I'm flattered, Gabe," the 2020 presidential candidate replied. "Dementors or big bank CEOs, I'm ready to take 'em on — let's do this!"

Warren is definitely a Harry Potter fan, and it's not the first time she's tweeted a reference either. Back in 2016, Warren responded to reports of a new Harry Potter story by asking J.K. Rowling if she was looking for a Defense of the Dark Arts professor.

"Where do I apply? Trump, Death Eaters - I got this!" she assured Rowling.

However, now fans seem to think she's extremely in line with Professor McGonagall, seeing as how McGonagall was a badass who became Headmistress of Hogwarts and led the resistance against Voldemort.

I'm sure not every presidential candidate would be willing to fight Dementors to protect the American people, but at least we know one of them is.
