Elon Musk, hat salesman and flamethrower peddler, is planning a new business venture.

According to the famous entrepreneur's latest series of tweets, published over the weekend, he's starting a "candy company."

"He can't be serious," you think. But Musk insisted "I am super super serious." And then things got weird.

In the barrage of tweets following these, Musk made the following statements:

  • We are all living in Westworld.

  • The plot of Willy Wonka is really messed up.

  • Warren Buffett is huge in candy.

  • He plans to build a moat and fill it with candy.

  • Liking moats is the same as liking oligopolies.

  • Watermelon is the best fruit and it trumps all other fruit by a large margin.

OK, I made that last one up. (Could you tell?)

In any case, Musk didn't provide many details on what this sweet new endavour will look like, but based on previous experience, whatever it is, he's going to earn millions of dollars in a matter of hours.

He did add one extra detail, though:

Millions, I said.
