Ok, should we be worried? Last season on Game of Thrones, Dany and Jon finally got together. But everybody knows that a gal's hair can have big implications for her relationship status: there's no better way to show the world that you've moved on than getting a radical new 'do.

And, scary news, folks: on Tuesday, everyone's favorite mother of dragons did just that. What does it MEAN?!

Bidding farewell to life as a brunette, Emilia Clarke debuted her new dyed blonde locks and short cropped cut on Instagram. She indicated that she may no longer have a need for the famous Khaleesi wig that she's worn for the past seven seasons. Instead, she'll use her real, newly-blonde hair for her role as Daenerys Targaryen for Game Of Thrones' final (SOB) season.

"All hail the magnificence of @kevalexanderhair and @candicebanks74 the genius creators of 'KHALEESI WIG,'" wrote Clarke, "for at long last making this magical moment a reality."

Goodbye, flaxen braided Khaleesi wig — hello, Dany Au Naturale!

So what can this blonde insta star tell us about the future of Westeros? Likely that the Thrones fam is coming together to start shooting again soon, which is good news for us, since the latest reports indicate that we likely won't get a Season 8 until 2019 (ALSO SOB).

But hey, we're not above reading into the emotional motivation of hair choices. Especially since Kevin Alexander — the very hairstylist to whom Emilia gives a shoutout for her new dye job — has revealed that the way he styles the hair of a character very much reflects what they're going through within their story arcs.

So, will Daenerys be ditching Jon so soon after their ship cabin tryst? Ridding herself of her braids and her lover in one fell chop? Or does the cut indicate an affinity with Cersei? Who, lest we forget, rose from the ashes of her walk of shame only to sport a truly ferocious pixie cut.

Will Dany go full on Mad Queen and become tougher, sadder, meaner, and more isolated like the current queen? DOES THE KEY TO IT ALL LIE IN HER HAIR FOLLICLES?

Only time and obsessive speculating will tell. In the meantime, let's just hope the New Emilia doesn't decide to go crazy with this whole Emilia Meets Mother of Dragons thing, and transfer those famous braids to her eyebrows.
