Hamilton goes to Hogwarts; cue muggle freakout.

It's a well-known fact that Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda is a wizard of freestyle. So to celebrate HeForShe, Emma Watson asked Miranda to rap about gender equality. He agreed, with one caveat: The former Harry Potter star had to provide the accompanying beatbox.

A red-faced Watson obliged (after a hilarious line of questioning about how to use her hand as a spit-guard), and the resulting rap could definitely earned these two top OWLs in musicality.

And here's a SHORT clip of Emma Watson beatboxing while I freestyle about #HeForShe, if you only have 3 minutes. This was so fun.

The rap was a small portion of an almost hour-long interview Miranda and Watson did in honor of the UN Women’s HeForShe Arts Week, a campaign celebrating International Women’s Day.

During the interview, the duo also discussed a vital topic -- which Hogwarts houses each Hamilton character would be sorted into. In typical Hermione fashion, Watson came prepared with a researched list.

While Miranda agreed Alexander Hamilton would belong in Gryffindor, he revealed that Daniel Radcliffe previously told him Hamilton would obviously be a Ravenclaw.

Watson promised to take Radcliffe to task for his sorting hat ceremony: “I’m going to have to call him about this.”

I talked to Emma Watson for #HeforShe, but not before sorting Hamilton the Musical characters into Hogwarts houses. Full interview coming up later today!
