TJ Miller's 'human emoji' audition brings life to World Emoji Day
World Emoji Day is really a thing, and it happened today.
You'll be forgiven if you missed it, but one person who didn't was Silicon Valley star TJ Miller.
Many people found emoji-fueled ways to celebrate the totally real and not-at-all made up holiday.

But the best was Miller, who teamed up with Sony Animation to make this fake audition reel for a very real movie based on, you guessed it, emojis.

The Emoji Movie may seem like a joke but, in a day and age when a Trolls movie is being released a good 20 years after that toy's commercial peak ended, apparently nothing is out of bounds when it comes to new movie fodder. Miller will provide the voice for a "meh" emoji in the film, which is set to hit theaters in 2017.
