How to empower women in the tech industry
Mashable's latest #BizChats Twitter chat, sponsored by HiscoxUK, discussed constructive solutions to help the progressive movement of gender equality in the tech industry. Over the course of an hour, several female tech leaders answered an array of questions ranging from the benefits behind incorporating diverse women in positions of power in the tech industry, to business policies that would help cultivate gender equality in the workplace. Several female tech leaders joined in on the conversation including: Anne-Marie Imafidon, co-founder of award-winning social enterprise Stemettes.org; Edwina Dunn, business leader, entrepreneur and CEO of Starcount; Jessica Naziri, tech expert, writer, vlogger, & content strategist; and Kate Unsworth, CEO of Vinaya, a company that designs wearable tech products for modern life.
