A strange '80s television moment is being launched into meme status, and like so many viral videos, it's reached many'a procrastinating internet-dweller in record time.

In less than a week the high-kicking, unnervingly enthusiastic and a pastel-wearing kids from the first episode of U.K. kids show Emu's Pink Windmill have become infamous for their hyper dancing and interesting fashion sense.

Catrina is way too excited IMO.

The fun really began on Oct. 28 when whoever tweets from @Turbo_Jimmy jumpstarted the engine of bizarre nostalgia, making a video of the video, by filming it on his computer screen.

YouTuber Ixistant promptly pinned a version of video to noticeboard of the internet, Reddit, and the rest is a blurry history of "TFW" style memes.

By Nov. 28, a Facebook page called Instant Regret got the video over the 11 million views line. Impressive.

Ethical soap connoisseurs, Lush, have already made their own attempt at a remake in the U.K. after they were dragged for their in-store enthusiasm via a reference to the video.

Will "kids introducing themselves" be the next #MannequinChallenge?

Please God, no. But if that's the case, at least we all have permission to be #OverIt in about week.
