Netflix refreshes its catalogue of movies each month, with a major influx of new films hitting the streaming service on the first of every month. So what can you expect come Sept. 1, 2025?

The answer: tons of great watches. Netflix's new film arrivals on Sept. 1 include eternal classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, every Shrek film, and the widely beloved Paddington. That's just the tip of the iceberg, though, as the incoming list features something for everyone.

Looking for a thriller? Turn on Bridesmaids. More in the mood for superhero films? Both of Andrew Garfield's Amazing Spider-Man movies are on their way. Craving a musical fix? Check out La La Land.
