This guy created an electric guitar from matchsticks and it’s awesome

Zeppelin + this guitar would be a match made in heaven.

LONDON -- What could you do with 40,000 matchsticks? 

Dean Fraser created a fully-functioning electric guitar, and it’s incredible.

The Chorley native began work on the project 18 years ago while serving in the British Army, but it wasn’t until his retirement from the military in 2013 that he was able to complete the guitar.

Fraser’s matchstick masterpiece is not his only claim to fame. Through the power of social media, his designs have caught the attention of the likes of American rap artist B.o.B, who purchased a recycled oak and resin Luminescent guitar that the ex-soldier had completed for a product design course at University of Central Lancashire.
