This man's crafty Snapchat post is not at all what it seems

LONDON -- When it comes to Snapchat, you have to take what you see with a pinch of salt.

Because outside that vertical little window, who really knows what's going on?

On Monday, James Greator perfectly summed up this phenomena in one viral tweet:

Yep: what looks like a dark, sleepy shot of a man lying beneath a duvet is only a couple of coats and a filter away from what's really going on.

In just over a day, Greator's tweet has already been shared a whopping 45,000 times.

Many people seemed to empathise.

Others, meanwhile, were less impressed.

On Monday evening, Greator -- presumably being inundated with angry tweets -- posted the following update:

Still, it'd be interesting to know how many people are currently attempting this trick.
