'Fantastic Beasts's sequel adds new cast, including Harry Potter superfan Jessica Williams

The Daily Show alum Jessica Williams is about to join a highly exclusive list of massive Harry Potter fans who ended up in the movies. Pottermore revealed a whole slate of new Fantastic Beasts cast members on Friday, with Williams joining the team for this magical sequel.

Williams is a longtime Potter fan and regularly vocalizes her love of the series on her podcast 2 Dope Queens, hosted with comedian Phoebe Robinson. She started interacting with Rowling on Twitter a few years ago and met her for the first time this summer (the two share a birthday and they partied together. It was adorable). Williams' role, as well as that of Fiona Glascott, have yet to be revealed.

Before Williams, it was known that actress Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) was a huge fan of the series before being cast in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Rupert Grint was the O.G. big name fan whose real-life similarities to Ron and rapping skills got him cast back in 1999.

The film already has its young Dumbledore, and now it looks like we'll be seeing him with old friend Nicholas Flamel. In the Potter books, Flamel was a renowned alchemist whose creation of the Elixir of Life ends up being crucial in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone. Actor Brontis Jodorowsky will play Flamel in the film, and he's just the start of its new casting.

So far, only a few names have been revealed, but some surnames will be familiar to Harry Potter fans. Joining the cast will be Wolf Roth as a character called Spielman; Call the Midwife star Victoria Yeates as Bunty; Derek Riddell as Torquil Travers; Poppy Corby-Tuech as Rosier; and Cornell S John as Arnold Guzman.

Spielman and Bunty are new, while Travers and Rosier popped up sporadically in Harry Potter as the names of two peripheral Death Eaters. Were the Travers and Rosier we know descended from followers of the dark wizard Grindelwald? Is that why they took so heartily to Voldemort's message? Will Spielman and Bunty be on the side of good or evil -- or are they non-magical characters, like Jacob (Dan Fogler)?

The Fantastic Beasts sequel will release in Nov. 2018.
