The ~crucial~ Fast & Furious actor Tyrese Gibson (aka Tyrese) just took the nuclear option in his seemingly one-sided feud with FF costar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Tyrese said on Instagram Wednesday that he would not reprise his role as Roman Pearce in the 9th Fast & Furious production if The Rock is also a member of the cast. It's a winning threat to make, since Tyrese clearly has more star power than The Rock.

The statement apparently stemmed from Tyrese's anger at The Rock for doing a FF spinoff with Jason Statham, which Tyrese seems to think is responsible for delaying the production of Fast 9, now pushed from an April 2019 release to April 2020.

The feud first began in a series of now-deleted comments and tags trying to get The Rock's attention. The gossip site The Shade Room has screen-shotted the comments for posterity.

First, Tyrese commented on an Instagram photo of The Rock signing some sort of contract, telling him he should postpone shooting of his spinoff project so Fast 9 can premiere as previously scheduled.

Next, in the caption of a post featuring a picture of the two former buddies, Tyrese tells Dwayne, because he doesn't "do email bruh," to call him on his "same San Diego" number, which The Rock totally has stored in his phone on speed dial.

I don't do email bruh You got my cell same San Diego # hit me

Tyrese then escalates the seemingly one-sided feud in a post of his own making. In the caption under a photo announcing the tragically postponed 2020 Fast & Furious 9 date, Tyrese sarcastically congratulates The Rock "for making the Fast and Furious franchise all about YOU."

Which brings us to now. Tyrese just raised the stakes of the feud to something he can't walk away from with his pride intact, announcing hat he won't participate in future Fast productions if The Rock is also cast.

The Rock has not publicly responded, because duh.
