On Sunday, the animated world record holder won the Men's 100-meter sprint at the Rio Olympics, retaining his status as the fastest man in the world. During the winning race, Bolt was captured smiling as he sprinted to victory. The photo spread rapidly across social media.
The Jamaican sprinter is known for his signature lighting bolt pose, but his unique showmanship has been present in every Olympic event he has competed in. "People come to see you run fast, but they also come to see a show, a performance… that’s what I give them," Bolt has said previously.
