The very same actors who announced the wrong Best Picture at last year's Oscars have been invited back for another year.

But guys, it wasn't really their fault, remember?

When Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced La La Land as Best Picture instead of Moonlight at last year's Academy Awards, everyone watching spontaneously combusted — including La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz, who had to hand over the gold onstage.

Now, TMZ reports, Dunaway and Beatty are being given a chance to get the announcement for Best Picture right. They've been invited back to present the same award category at this year's Oscars on March 4.

Dunaway and Beatty were mere messengers for an incredible behind-the-scenes clusterfuck eventually pinned on PWC accountant Brian Cullinan, whose distracted backstage tweeting lead to a fatefully misplaced envelope.

The Best Picture nominees this year are Get Out, Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird, Dunkirk, The Shape of Water, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The Post, Darkest Hour and Phantom Thread. We won't be surprised if Beatty and Dunaway brandish the opened envelope as proof this time.
