SAVE UP TO 35%, PLUS GET A FREE TV: As of Feb. 3, Best Buy will give you a free Samsung 50-inch 4K TV (a $299.99 value) when you buy a 2024 or 2025 Neo QLED 8K TV on sale.

In the sea of TV deals live in honor of the Seahawks vs. Patriots showdown this weekend, one of Best Buy's TV promos stands out with more than a flat discount.

Not only are several Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs from 2024 and 2025 already discounted by $1,000+ themselves, but buying one will also get you a free 50-inch Samsung U7900 4K TV (a $299.99 value). If you're already looking for a premium model to upgrade your living room TV, why not upgrade your bedroom TV or garage TV for free while you're at it?

Sizes on sale range from 65 to 100 inches, and discounts range from 20% to about 34% off. The best deal (the one with the biggest price cut percentage-wise) is the 85-inch Samsung QN900D Neo QLED 8K TV on sale for $3,999.99. That's $2,000 off its usual $5,999.99.

Do you necessarily need an 8K TV right now? Not exactly. There's still not a ton of 8K content out there to even take advantage of an 8K TV's incredible resolution. Being on the expensive side, 8K TVs are a bit of a hard sell at full price. But when they're seeing sale prices like what Best Buy is offering here today, they're a steal. A premium Samsung Neo QLED is still a premium Samsung Neo QLED in all its glory. The Samsung QN900D and QN900F series are exceptionally bright with sensational glare handling, and the mini LED backlight provides quite rich contrast for a non-OLED TV. This type of free TV promo is quintessential clearing house that we see from the big retailers every winter. The cycle kicks off at CES in early January, when the big brands unveil their 2026 TV lineups. But most of those announced flagship TVs don't actually become available for sale until March or April, leaving February as the key month to downsize stock of last year's TVs. The timing just happens to line up perfectly with the biggest football game of the year.

P.S. The Seahawks vs. Patriots game will be streaming on Peacock. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Walmart+ and get a free month of Peacock. That'll also cover the Olympics for you.
