Enough is enough.

Despite the fact that the Stranger Things protagonists are kids, they've been receiving all sorts of criticism and harassment, and Finn Wolfhard a.k.a. Mike Wheeler, 14, has something important to say about it.

"Hey everybody! I don't wanna ex-communicate anyone from this fandom, but if you are for real you will not harass my friends, or co-workers. Ya'll know who you are," he tweeted.

"Why I even have to tweet that, I don't know. Anyone who calls themselves a "fan" and actively goes after someone for literally acting and doing their job is ridiculous. Think b4 ya type boiiii."

Wolfhard was harassed on Twitter after he didn't stop to say hi to a Stranger Things fan and the incident was caught on a viral video. Fans started tweeting that Wolfhard was "heartless".

Shannon Purser, the actress who played cult character Barb in the series' Season 1, came to his defense in a Twitter thread.

"Okay, no," she said. "No actor is under any obligation to stop for anyone. Finn is an incredibly kind human. But he's human and needs breaks too."

"I experience this on a significantly smaller scale, obviously, but I've had people waiting for me in hotel lobbies, at my airport gate, etc.," she continued.

Members of the cast have also been subjected to inappropriate 'adult' comments on social media.

A 27-year-old model, Ali Michael, said that Wolfhard should "hit me up in 4 years".

We've said it already and we'll say it again: Hey 'Stranger Things fans, don't sexualize kids.
