Prepare yourself for the gentlest lunch you've ever seen.

A baby hummingbird that was kicked out of its nest was found by paramedic firefighters in Sacramento, California on March 30.

The team worked tirelessly, and ever-so-delicately, to nurse the tiny bird back to health, periodically feeding it some tasty sugar water, according to a Facebook post.

Once the bird was healthy enough, it was transferred to the Wildlife Care Association, where it could receive better treatment.

Let's hope it'll be zooming around the flowers and trees as soon as possible.
