This is one fish will not be seeing the other end of a septum tank.

A tiny pet fish named Peeping Tom, aptly named for his love of creepily staring at people while they were in the shower, sadly passed away after his owner's dad mistakenly moved his fish bowl into a too-shady part of the house.

According to Imgur user, chilly911, Tom was only six and a half years old when he met his untimely death.

"One day his bowl was moved out of the sunlight by my father despite specific instructions to keep his bowl in light," the user wrote on Imgur. "And I came home from work the next day to find my wonderful aquatic companion dead."

To make up for the mishap, the dad decided to lovingly pay tribute to Tom's life by giving him a viking funeral -- complete with a tiny boat equipped with a sail, Treasure Troll figurehead and lots of matches to get the job done.

The boat was named the S.S. Boobies, also aptly named for Tom's favorite activity.

While it will take the Imgur user a while to grieve and forgive their dad for his mistake, they admit that the funeral was, "pretty bad ass."

The Imgur user launched Tom's boat in a drainage ditch close to their sister's house and lit it aflame. All parties involved could agree that it was a fitting tribute to such an excellent little fish.

Rest in peace, pervy fish. We hardly knew ye.
