You'll remember the late, great Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds for their talents on screen, but their personal relationship was just as moving.

That's something that comes to light in a new HBO documentary on the mother and daughter pair, and a new trailer for it has appeared on People Tuesday.

Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds' footage was shot in 2014 and 2015, and its release is particularly poignant due to the pair's recent deaths within two days of each other.

From a rather sweet moment where Fisher questions the cellphone Reynolds uses, to a frank revelation on mental health, you can be sure the tears will be flowing (again).

"We started out making a film about Hollywood royalty," directors Alexis Bloom and Fisher Stevens told the publication. "And we ended up making a film about love."

Following their tragic deaths, HBO moved up the premiere date of Bright Lights.

It will now air Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. EST.
