Five-year-olds go on a date that puts adult dating to shame
PizzaExpress is more romantic than it sounds.
Proving that 5-year-olds are not too young to woo one another properly, Freddie Gibson and Dee Dee Jones went on a cuter first date than possibly anything that's ever come out of Tinder.
A spokesperson for the location of the very charming first date gave Mashable all the details.

"Freddie had been talking about asking Dee Dee on a ‘date’ for a while, so as they’re both huge PizzaExpress [A restaurant chain in the UK] fans it seemed like the obvious (and fun!) place for them to go," Nina Gibson, Freddie's mom, told to PizzaExpress.
"It was just the cutest trip out ever, and it was so wonderful to see them have such a great time."
Dee Dee's mother Katy Jones told spokespeople for the restaurant that Freddie waited until Dee Dee turned five years old before asking her on the date to PizzaExpress Christchurch in England. He then mailed her an invitation to go on a date. In the mail.
Take notes, everyone.
"They are polar opposites in personality but really are very fond of each other," Jones said.
“I really enjoyed going on a date with Freddie – especially the hearts on our ice cream!” Dee Dee said.
“Dee Dee is my best friend in the whole world, and I loved our date," Freddie said. "I'd like to take Dee Dee on another date because she's beautiful.”
As Freddie gets older, we're guessing he'll come up with some more complex reasons for wanting that second date. For now, have fun, kids!
