A dense fog fell over Gillette Stadium during the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots game on Sunday and people think it may have been part of a conspiracy.

*insert spoooooooky music here*

This was the first rematch between the teams since the Patriots's come-from-behind-soul-crushing Super Bowl win over the Falcons.

The internet started to come up with theories that maybe the fog was part of some Patriots scheme to secure the win.

The New England Patriots have been plagued by a myriad of controversy in the past, so fans are naturally going to be suspicious of anything -- even fog.
