Unless this company is just blowing smoke, you can now buy vodka made using San Francisco fog.

Instead, it's from Hangar 1, a Bay Area distillery that sought to create a vodka with a nod to sustainability.

Just so we're not foggy on the details, the vodka, called Fog Point, isn't actually made from fog: it's distilled from California grape wine. The water used in the distilling process is the fog in question — and it's condensed using these big ol' fog catchers.

Head distiller Caley Shoemaker told Time that fog water tastes pretty much like you'd expect. More specifically, Shoemaker said, "the water has a little bit of an earthy note to it."

"For some reason what always springs to my mind is like, if you’re standing next to a stream on a warm day, the scent of moist rocks," she said.

Mmm, moist rocks.

As for the finished product, it's said to have notes of honeysuckle and citrus — "almost like an Asian pear," reported Time. Fruit, flowers, moist rocks — what's not to love?

But for all the vodka's hipster whimsy, its mission is an admirable one. 100 percent of profits will go toward water conservation — a salient issue for drought-stricken California.

Fog Point is currently available for pre-order at $125 per bottle.
