Good luck spotting Ford's new undercover police vehicles on the road.

On Monday, the company announced it was embedding police lights right into the spoilers, preventing drivers from being able to pick out police cars by spotting lights on their roof.

“Aftermarket light bars can impede visibility by hanging down over the glass,” Ford police brand marketing manager Stephen Tyler said in an online statement. He said the upgrade will allow for "no compromise to rear visibility.”

The announcement came with a company YouTube video in which they introduced the new technology as though it was a rock star.

In the release, Ford acknowledged the goal to make police vehicles invisible until their lights flash.

“Rear spoiler traffic warning lights offer a fully integrated solution for agencies wishing to minimize the presence of their police vehicles,” Ford police programs's chief engineer Arie Groeneveld said in the same statement.
