LONDON -- The exams taken by young children in Britain -- and whether these exams are causing too much stress -- has been a big topic in the UK lately.
Year 6 SATs, the tests taken by 10- and 11-year-olds at the end of primary school, began on Monday. Normally, the tests don't receive that much media attention.
This time round, though -- due to surveys on stress, parent-led campaigns and letters from teachers going viral -- they've been thrown into the spotlight.
