Fortnite is heading back to Gotham City.

Starting on Friday, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman skins returned to Epic Games' popular battle royale throwdown, along with cosmetic items for each. They're all available in the Fortnite item shop individually and as bundles.

That's not all, though. Another Gotham City-themed set of additions is coming in November as part of a bundle called The Last Laugh. As you might've already guessed from the title, the bundle features Batman's arch-nemesis, Joker, along with thematically appropriate cosmetic items like "Laugh Riot Back Bling" and "Bad Joke Pickaxe."

The Crown Prince of Crime will also be joined by two other denizens of the Gotham City underworld: Poison Ivy and Midas. The $30 bundle will be coming to Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on Nov. 17. In an odd twist, Epic's announcement notes that details on The Last Laugh availability for PC and mobile players will arrive at a later date.

The mobile piece of that equation could of course have to do with Epic's ongoing Apple showdown (which also now includes Google). It's not clear why the PC release of these skins would be held up, though.

The month of November is noteworthy for the gaming world. While we don't know an exact date, Microsoft recently confirmed that the new Xbox Series X console will launch in November. It's also widely believed that Sony's PlayStation 5 will launch at around the same time.

Fortnite is already confirmed for release on the Series X and PS5. So this Gotham City-themed villain bundle could give new console owners some extra reasons to spend money on Fortnite over other games that will be available when the consoles launch.
