'Fornite's' community has crowned a king of dancing. And his name is Orange Shirt Kid.

One meme to rule them all.

Fortnite, the free-to-play competitive video game shooter, has become a cultural force in a very short period of time. And as of Sunday, one person has risen to rule it.

You might not expect it from a game where 100 people descend on an island and try to shoot and craft their way to the top, but dance parties have become a surprise feature of many Fortnite games. So much so that the developer Epic Games decided to celebrate its community by announcing a "Boogiedown" competition at the beginning of this month, asking for video submissions of IRL players dancing.

When Epic announced the winners Sunday, the community all but ignored the top prize winners. The dancer who came in 23rd in the contest became the real winner in many hearts and minds.

That boy with all the moves is Twitter user @Kid_Fortnite12, and if you take a look at his entry, you'll see why he has developed a fierce fandom in the past two days.

The community has taken to calling him Orange Shirt Kid, for obvious reasons. And it took basically zero time before they meme'd the heck out of his sick dancing, setting it to a variety of bangers.

But they didn't stop there. The community, drunk off their power to crown themselves a dancing king, began demanding that Epic reevaluate the results of its Boogiedown.

Orange Shirt Kid, the community concluded, deserved to win the competition. Reddit threads were started demanding "Justice for Orange Shirt Kid."

They even went so far as to set up a Change.org petition that, as of this writing, has well over 6,000 signatures and is sure to reach its goal of 7,500 in no time.

As for the Orange Shirt Kid -- he's loving this. And though he was initially proud to be placed 23rd, he now also demands justice for himself.

If you want to know what sorts of dancing could possibly be better than Orange Shirt Kid, here are the winners that Epic chose over him:
