What the hell is up with those bizarre Fox News Apple alerts?

It's common knowledge that Fox News regularly downplays big news or ignores huge stories altogether if they doesn't align with its core conservative beliefs. But something entirely weird and different is happening with Fox News' trending Apple News stories.

Not only do they have nothing to do with the leading stories of they day, they often times they seem like they came from completely out of left field -- and maybe even from outer space.

Like, look:

Whaat? And the amazing thing is that there are SO many of these: just completely bizarre stories coupled with important, pertinent news from other sources. As I noticed it happening again and again, I couldn't help but take screenshots. Because, again, there are SO MANY.

Over the past year these have often happened during pivotal political moments.

Though the process by which these particular items end up in Apple's trending section is a complex one, but these are stories that Fox News wants to highlight by feeding them into Apple News.

Stories like a police breakfast tweet gone wrong.

Or what Jesus has to say about judging Jennifer Aniston.

And then there is the foot. Oh, the foot!

They have clearly found their lane and are sticking to it. Hopefully the severed feet keep coming for America's most-watched news network.
