Oops: According to Fox News, the UK is Brexiting the United Nations

The U.K. is reeling after voting to leave the European Union in a historic 'Brexit' referendum. But Fox News is reeling for a different reason: it seems to think the UK has decided to leave the United Nations.

Say it ain't so, right? Well, it ain't so. In fact, no state has ever left or been ejected from the U.N. unless the state ceased to exist as a sovereign country.

Whoops.

Naturally, Twitter was quick to pick up on the goof.




On the bright side (?), the headline's half right: Prime Minister David Cameron, who campaigned for the "remain" camp, announced today he'll resign in October.

So, uh, we'll chalk it up to a typo?
