Former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero has cancelled a show on his global tour with band Frank Iero and The Patience after a bus in Sydney, Australia, crashed into the musician and two others as they were unloading a van before a show.

Two of the three men have been hospitalised and Iero has said he's "pretty banged up but miraculously alive and in a stable condition" over Twitter/

A statement by police said the bus had no passengers on board at the time, and two of the men were standing at the rear of the van when the collision occurred. One man was airlifted to a nearby hospital while the other was taken by road.

Both men are reported to be in a serious condition, but stable. The third man evaded serious injury and was treated at the scene for cuts and bruises.

Though authorities didn't confirm the identity of the three people involved, Iero's tweet overnight identified him as one of the men.

The bus driver was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing and the band's show for the evening was understandably cancelled.

Supporters took to Twitter to send well-wishes to the band and their families.
