We still don't know when Boys Don't Cry, the second album from Frank Ocean, will be released.

But at least there now is an online service that will help alleviate some of the frustration that comes with being an Ocean fan.

As Plato once said, necessity is the mother of invention, and since we're all in desperate need of the album, one heroic inventor, Shahzeb, stepped up to the plate and developed an app called (650)82OCEAN that will inform you when the album drops, so you can turn off your Frank Ocean Google alerts.

Just pop in your phone number or email address and the service will send you a message as soon as the album appears to have gone live on Spotify or iTunes. It even uses Twitter to scan for information of the album.

So far, over 14,500 people have signed up for the app. Shahzeb is also accepting donations. The overall server costs have reached about $300, according to the site, and $28 have been contributed so far.
