Lyft's co-founders believe in the gun control message the student organizers behind the March for Our Lives rallies this weekend will be chanting in marches in Washington, D.C and beyond.

To support students and others speaking up for stricter gun laws a month after the deadly Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, the ride-hailing app is offering attendees in 50 cities throughout the U.S. free rides on Saturday.

If you're heading to an official March for Our Lives event you can use a free ride code up to $15. The codes will first be distributed Friday to attendees who RSVP on the official March event pages. On Saturday morning before the marches any remaining ride codes will be available on Lyft's website.

Drop the code into the promos tab on the Lyft app and enter an official March "rallypoint" address for your destination.

Lyft is giving $1.5 million in free rides, so once that amount has been grabbed up in free ride codes you're out of luck on a free ride to the rally.

Lyft co-founders John Zimmer and Logan Green wrote a letter to the high school organizers earlier this month, telling them "we are inspired by your leadership."
