A Friends reunion is "never" happening, says series co-creator David Crane, but that's because everyone lived happily ever after.

“Never happening. Never.," Crane said before he could even properly be asked the question at an Emmy panel in Los Angeles. "We did it! It’s done. That’s why you don’t want to see more of it, because it’s all a happy ending.”

Crane did clarify, however, that it wasn't just a happy ending within the series. Ross and Rachel are still together, he told fellow panelist Rachel Bloom.

“Yes. Come on, they worked really hard, 10 years,” Crane said. Chandler and Monica are still happy as well.

Since Friends wrapped in 2004 – heck, even in the past several years – cast members have been asked repeatedly about the possibility of a reunion or revival. Now we know at least one reason why it's never happening: They're all happy!
