Fullscreen's winter slate features Bret Easton Ellis series, Andrea Russett talkshow

The new programming kicks off Nov. 21 with "Present Tense."

LOS ANGELES --  Bret Easton Ellis is making his directorial debut on Fullscreen this winter.

Fullscreen announced this week that the American Psycho author's first series The Deleted will launch on Dec. 4.

The show, which stars Madeline Brewer, Amanda Cerny and Nash Grier, follows members of a cult in Northern Washington who escape to Los Angeles and go off the grid. When escapees begin disappearing, they're driven to find each other for protection as nefarious cult leaders hunt them down.

It is among the handful of fresh content offerings from the digital entertainment company, which has been working to attract viewers to its SVOD service.

Like YouTube Red, Fullscreen is adding content from big names like Easton Ellis as well as personality-driven programming.

Other breakthrough series coming to the platform include shows produced in collaboration with stars such as Lauren Giraldo, Anna Akana & Brad Gage, Shannon Boodram, Cody Ko and Amanda McKenna.

Present Tense, which stars Jillian Rose Reed (Awkward), kicks off the winter sslate on Nov. 21. The show, produced by Morgan Spurlock’s Warrior Poets and Maker Studios, features Rose Reed as she immerses herself in hot social issues such as the censorship of women's bodies.

CEO@16, which follows the meteoric rise of Ben Pasternak, launches Nov. 30.

Magic Funhouse, an adult show about a kids show, also makes its debut on Dec. 15.

An untitled Andrea Russett project, starring social media superstar Andrea Russett, is scheduled for early 2017.

Jack & Dean of All Trades, from Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs, will return for season 2 in 2017.

Fullscreen, which launched in 2011, helps a network of 75,000 YouTube, Facebook, Vine and Instagram monetize their content and reach fans. They collectively have 600 million subscribers, who help generate more than 5 billion video views across Fullscreen's global network each month. The company's talent roster includes popular creators Grace Helbig, The Fine Bros., Andrea Russett and Jack and Jack.

In 2014, the company sold a majority stake to Otter Media, a joint venture between the Chernin Group and AT&T.

Fullscreen's SVOD service, which costs $5 per month, already offers existing originals such as Legendary Entertainment and Fullscreen's reboot of the 1970s TV series Electra Woman & Dyna Girl — as well as a handful of "throwback" offerings such as the film Cruel Intentions and popular '90s series Saved By The Bell.

New licensed content coming to the platform includes Chuck, Glee and Angel.
