The 'Game of Thrones' 2018 concert tour is coming

The immensely successful Game of Thrones concert experience is returning to the stage in 2018 with a massive European and American tour. Composer Ramin Djawadi announced the dates via Facebook Live on the official Game of Thrones page, along with a special bonus for viewers.

The first Game of Thrones concerts, which took place earlier in 2017, featured a live orchestra conducted by Djawadi along with lights, special effects (like fire), and video montages from the show. The result was an immersive fan experience unlike any for a TV show, so naturally HBO wanted to keep the hype going.

"Building upon the incredible response we received from the first tour earlier this year, Game of Thrones fans are in for a treat when the updated version of the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience makes its debut in Europe and then returns to North America next year," said Jeff Peters, Vice President of Licensing and Retail at HBO, in a press release. "The Game of Thrones fan base reaches all corners of the globe, so we are excited a wider international audience will now be able to experience Ramin's extraordinary talent."

The 2018 dates, most of which are over a year away, are as follows:
