The night is dark and full of The Force.

Canadian illustrator Andrew Dat Tran is a self-proclaimed "gamer and movie geek" who channels his fandom into beautiful paintings of pop culture characters from sci-fi movies, TV and games.

His latest project combines the worlds of Game of Thrones and Star Wars. Arya Stark, Melisandre and others look right at home when they're drawn as Jedi and Sith.

More of Tran's work can be found on his website, or on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Let's hope he expands this collection in the future. We would love to see Sansa as Princess Leia or Padme.
