If you find yourself wishing you were a character in Game of Thrones, A, you're insane, B, there's an app for that.

Game of Thrones: Conquest is an upcoming mobile game coming to iOS and Android later this year, allowing fans of the series to control their own family house in Westeros and attempt to take the Iron Throne.

Of course, this is Game of Thrones we're talking about, so you're not going to be handing out flyers to smallfolk in the hopes of earning their vote. There will be battles, there will be political allegiances, there will be deception, and there will be deaths.

Game of Thrones: Conquest features a handful of popular characters from the books and show including Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and Jon Snow. It would be a shame if any one of them got in your way.

The game doesn't have an official release date yet (aside from "later this year"), but anyone who is interested can pre-register for the game on the website, which gets them exclusive Night's Watch training gear, gold, and other helpful resources.

Hopefully it will be enough for fans of the show while they wait for the eighth season. As for fans of books, nothing will ever be enough.

The app is being developed by Turbine in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and HBO.
