A Game of Thrones episode was leaked in India and police have nabbed four suspects in connection with the unauthorized release.

An AFP report said four were arrested Monday in Mumbai for leaking the popular HBO show's fourth episode, "The Spoils of War," from the current season before it aired on Aug. 6. The arrests come amid a flurry of HBO hacks and leaks, including leaks of Game of Thrones information. But the episode 4 leak was not part of the larger HBO hack.

The four are accused of "criminal breach of trust and computer-related offenses" and will be held until Aug. 21, according to local police.

HBO had no further details about the leak and referred inquiries to their network partner, Star India. Formerly known as Star TV, the company has not responded yet.

We also reached out to the company that streams episodes, Prime Focus Technologies, where three of the four suspects worked currently. The fourth was a former employee, according to a Press Trust of India report.

They all would've had official credentials with access to the episode.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m. PT: Star India confirmed in an email statement that the company had filed a complaint with local government officials after the episode leak. Then today the company learned about law enforcement agencies arresting four people who worked at its technology vendor, Prime Focus Technologies.

"We believe that valuable intellectual property is a critical part of the development of the creative industry and strict enforcement of the law is essential to protecting it," the company said in the statement.
