This was hands down the best 'Game of Thrones' death from Episode 5 and it's not up for debate

Forget the fiery culmination of Cleganebowl. Forget Cersei and Jaime's last moments. Forget Euron's grinning demise.

There's only one Game of Thrones death from episode five that I want to talk about, and that's Qyburn's.

The fact is, as much as I don't want to describe an elderly man getting his brains bashed out as "perfect", there's simply no other word for it.

Look, there's even a Reddit thread with over 3,000 upvotes describing Qyburn's death as the only "satisfying" one.

Really, the whole thing works on two levels. First, there's just how impressively abrupt it was.

Second, there's the sweet irony of knowing that such a nasty character ultimately brought about his own demise.
